Skari Douglas Camp is a sculptress, whose work was short listed fot the plinth in Trafalgar Square. Her husband is an architect and took on the conversion of a corner plot in a busy south London residential area. The house is on three levels with an open stair well in the centre, so that light from the glazed roof ( there is a conservatory structure rather than tiles) allows light to flow through each floor. The ground floor is open plan with dining, sitting and kitchen areas, many bordered by Sokari's sculpted figures. The first floor contains four bedrooms and bathroom and the top level of the stairs finishes under the glazed dome of the roof. Writer vinnylee@btinternet.com
