2866 - Stuart Forbes basement development

25 images 1 2 »

This terraced south London house and home of an architect which he and his wife developed to give them more space for their two young children. The basement was excavated and tanked to provide an open plan kitchen. The front of the house was also dug out and made in to a terraced/banked garden so that the view from the basement kitchen windows is of a flower filled and light space. Upstairs there is a dining area under the glass roof of an extension and to the front there is a sitting area. Writer vinneylee@btinternet.com
