3065 - Schools Out

27 images 1 2 »

This country home of an interior designer was a 'Dame' School for the local Norman church. Built in 1813 the owner has reconfigured the inside to give easy open access to the lower rooms, added french windows and rebuilt the corrugate iron lean to with a more robust garden room. The beds in the upstairs rooms are positioned to allow maximum head room under the low roof and the decor is kept simple, comfortable and relaxed to make the most of the rural setting.
