3696 - Frost’s Chill out Space

Sondre bought an apartment in Oslo’s up and coming neighbourhood Sagene, but it was in such bad shape that Sondre had no qualms about rehabilitating the space to match his specific needs and desires: a clean, and simple white shell, with more open space, and fewer doors. Because that kind of thing, doors that is, doesn’t sit well with Sondre. At Sondre’s place, the seventies have been politely neglected in order to let the sixties’ focus on functionality and the eighties’ fascination with the future thrive. Coming into this place is possibly like stepping into an outdated, but very charming vision of the future, akin to the movie 2001 A Space Odyssey. A poster of Fritz Lang’s Metropolis above Sondre's bed gives a definite clue as to where some of his inspiration comes from. elisabeth.aarhus@gmail.com
